Josh P.S. (b. 1974 at Vakkom, Kerala) completed his MFA Painting from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi (1999) and B.F.A Painting from College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram in1995. He received Junior Fellowship in 2002 and National Scholarship in 1996, for Visual Arts from HRD Ministry, Government of India.

He has participated in several international exhibitions and fairs including Art Stage Singapore, 2011; India Art Summit, 2011; Eye Of India – A Section of Indian Contemporary Artists at Bartha & Senarclens Partners, Singapore and Walking The Line, a group show in Zurich, Switzerland, (2008).

His solo shows are Missing Links at Galerie Mirchandani+Steinruecke, Mumbai, (2009); Alone In The Crowd Bose Pacia, Culcutta (2008); Who Owns Peaock Throne at Nature Morte, New Delhi (2007); Preview at Dravidia Art Gallery, Kochi (2001); The Trial at Garhi Gallery, New Delhi (2000) and “Repetitions” Dravidia Art Gallery Kochi, Kerala (1999).

He was awarded the Junior Fellowship in 2002 in the field of visual arts and National Scholarship 1996, both by HRD Ministry, Government of India. He lives and works in New Delhi.
